LUMEN GARDEN(星光庭園) is a lane tower-defense game inspired by the classics: plant defenders on a 5×9 starlit lawn, harvest light orbs, and hold the line against ten escalating waves of the Shadow Tribe — then keep going in endless mode for a high score.
The entire game is hand-built with the raw web platform — vanilla JavaScript, Canvas rendering and the Web Audio API. There are no frameworks, no sprite sheets and no audio files; it runs fully offline.

- Two Modes: a 10-wave campaign with a final boss, and an endless mode with formula-generated waves that scale until you break — best wave saved locally
- Five Defenders: light-producing mushrooms, thorn snipers, slowing frost lotuses, splash-damage blaze flowers and 500-HP boulder walls
- Four Enemies: shamblers, sprinters, armored brutes whose shields absorb damage, and the giant Shadow Monarch boss with an oversized hitbox
- Starlight Bombs: a one-time last line of defense per lane that detonates when breached
- Synthesized Audio: 11 sound effects generated in real time by Web Audio oscillators, with a mute toggle
- Quality of Life: shovel with 50% refund, pause (P key), prep countdown, card cooldown masks, hit-flash and slow-frost animations
- Bot-Tested Balance: an automated player simulated full endless runs to calibrate the difficulty curve (a skilled run ends around wave 20)
- Mobile Ready: responsive canvas scaling with touch controls
Controls
Click a card, then click a lawn tile to plant. Click falling light orbs to collect energy. P to pause, speaker icon to toggle sound, shovel to remove a unit for a 50% refund.
