Every season deserves its own wreath — and every wreath marks a moment worth remembering.
種子花圈是最需要「等待」的作品。橡果、松果、各種小種子，都是散步時撿的、旅行時帶回來的，蒐集了好幾年才湊夠做一個大花圈的量。2021 年的聖誕節，終於把所有蒐集的果實拿出來，花了一整天一顆一顆黏上去。成品掛在門上的時候，覺得每顆種子都帶著一段回憶。後來又做了 IKEA 小塑膠樹改造版的聖誕小樹，加上真種子和黏土松果，是最有手作溫度的聖誕裝飾。花圈和節慶佈置也是我把各種手作技巧集合在一起的機會。
Seed wreaths demand the most patience of all. Acorns, pine cones, and tiny seeds — gathered on walks, brought home from travels, collected over years before there were finally enough for a full wreath. Christmas 2021, all those foraged treasures came out at last, glued on one by one over an entire day. Hanging the finished wreath on the door, every seed carried a memory. Later came a repurposed IKEA plastic tree — topped with real seeds and clay pine cones — the most handmade Christmas decoration imaginable. Seasonal wreaths bring together multiple craft techniques in celebration of the calendar.
