2021 年迷上冷瓷花，是因為它可以做到超輕土達不到的細膩度。冷瓷土乾燥後半透明、質感接近真花瓣，適合做細節多的花型——毛地黃的斑點、鈴蘭的小鈴鐺、芍藥層層疊疊的花瓣。
最喜歡的是做完不上色的時候，白色的冷瓷花有一種安靜的美。但上了色之後放在真花旁邊，連自己都分不出來——那個成就感是最讓人上癮的。
Cold porcelain is a self-hardening clay prized for its translucent, petal-like finish after drying. Unlike lightweight clay, it captures the delicate veining of real flowers and holds fine details — the spotted throat of a foxglove, the bell-shaped curve of lily of the valley, the ruffled layers of a ranunculus.
Each piece begins as a simple ball of clay, transformed petal by petal into a botanical sculpture that asks viewers to look twice. Nineteen pieces over three years, each one pushing closer to the line between craft and nature.
