A world small enough to hold in your palm — part realistic, part dreamy.
袖珍食物是我最早開始的黏土創作之一。跟仿真食物不同,袖珍的世界除了追求細節,還可以加入一點夢幻和浪漫的元素——婚禮蛋糕上的糖花、便當裡用愛心模具壓出的小飯糰、粉色馬卡龍塔。每個配菜都要個別製作,再小心翼翼地組裝進去。三層婚禮蛋糕從底層到頂端不到一個拇指高,但每層的花紋和緞帶都不能省略。
甜點系列也有一部分屬於袖珍——迷你和菓子、櫻花麻糬、小巧的馬卡龍,這些本來就帶著精緻可愛的氣質,縮小之後更像童話世界裡的道具。
2018 年在袖珍博物館展出過,那是全亞洲最大的袖珍藝術館。看到自己的作品被放在專業展櫃裡,跟來自世界各地的袖珍作品並列,是非常特別的經驗。
Miniature food is where precision meets imagination. Unlike life-size fake food that prioritizes realism above all, miniatures leave room for whimsy — a three-tier wedding cake crowned with tiny sugar roses, a bento box with heart-shaped rice balls, a pastel macaron tower. The dessert side brings its own charm: tiny wagashi, cherry-blossom mochi, and miniature macarons that look like props from a fairy tale.
Every piece fits on a coin, yet each demands the same attention to proportion and texture as its full-sized counterpart. Exhibited at the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan (2018) — Asia's largest venue dedicated to miniature art.
