Cat Walking | 貓步奇幻旅程

Every step opens a new universe.

Cat Walking is a surreal short film series starring a gray tabby cat who walks — simply walks — through impossible worlds. Each episode is a single continuous motion: the cat moves forward, and the world unfolds around it.

The concept started as a Midjourney experiment with one prompt: a cat walking through a metallic spiral tunnel. The image was striking enough to animate. One short became two, two became a series, and eventually the cat walked through eight different worlds — from Dalí-inspired melting clocks to neon-soaked cyberpunk cities to mist-wrapped moonlit forests.

The series ran from September to November 2025, one episode every week or two. Each builds on the same visual grammar: the cat walks, the world changes, and you feel like you've crossed into somewhere else entirely.

貓步奇幻旅程 是一個超現實短片系列——主角是一隻灰黑虎斑貓，牠只做一件事：走路。但每走一步，世界就變了。

最初只是一張 Midjourney 的實驗圖：一隻貓走在金屬螺旋隧道裡。畫面太好看了，就試著做成動畫。一支變兩支，兩支變成系列，最後這隻貓走過了八個完全不同的世界——從達利式的融化時鐘、無盡棋盤、霓虹未來城，到四季森林、月夜迷霧和萬聖夜的鬼火幻境。

2025 年 9 月到 11 月，大約每一兩週一集。每集的視覺語法一樣：貓往前走，世界在牠身邊展開，觀眾跟著踏進另一個地方。
