Cat Parade Series 的前幾支——《琥珀燈公爵》和《萬聖夜圓舞曲》——都有角色弧線、有情緒轉折。我很喜歡那些作品，但做完之後一直在想：如果把故事拿掉，只留節奏呢？不是所有影片都需要主角。有時候，音樂本身就是主角。
《奇幻遊行爵士》先出來的。做完之後覺得：這個方向對了，但還不夠瘋。所以五天後又做了《復古搖擺嘉年華》——同一座城市，同一群貓，但把音量開大、把色彩調亮、把帽子戴得更高。
第一場遊行——《奇幻遊行爵士》
《奇幻遊行爵士》比較安靜，像一個睡前故事被銅管樂隊劫持了。
寫詞的時候，我希望每段都像繪本裡的一幕。「Clockwork gears and velvet coats, birds as crowns, and dreams afloat」——這個畫面來自一張 MidJourney 生成的圖，一隻貓的禮帽上站了一隻小鳥。我留下它是因為它有那種遊行花車的荒謬感——認真到不行的荒謬。
節奏是緩步行進的，不急。這場遊行不需要你的注意力，它自己就在發生。
第二場遊行——《復古搖擺嘉年華》
五天後，《復古搖擺嘉年華》來了，而且它來的時候很吵。

《琥珀燈公爵》有角色弧線，《萬聖夜圓舞曲》每段主歌都屬於一個不同角色。但這兩場遊行？沒有人有名字，沒有人有故事。貓群行進、城市搖擺、遊行結束。
這比聽起來難。沒有角色做視覺錨點，每一幀都得靠節奏本身撐住。一個靜態鏡頭就會殺死所有動力。剪輯必須跟音樂一起呼吸——銅管的強拍需要視覺衝擊，安靜的小節需要視覺留白。
MidJourney 給了我角色——幾十隻戴帽子的復古貓咪，每隻都有足夠的個性撐住一個畫面，但不夠多到需要一條故事線。Grok 把靜態圖變成有節奏感的動態。最大的挑戰是「沒有編舞的編舞」：讓這些貓看起來真的 在一起行進 ，但其實每一隻都是單獨動起來的。
